how long can you leave these dogs?
im planning to adopt an adult housetrained dog (breeds below)
im single and live alone in a pretty big apartment
i have long work shifts but i come home evry few hours
how long can you leave any of these dogs alone? (i heard greyhounds will just sleep all day when your gone)

Italian Greyhound do like to sleep a lot and will more or less sleep most of the workday. However they have itty bitty bladders and so need newpaper, dog-litter or pee-pads to relieve themselves on. One downside is they get lonely and so two is often recommended instead of one. I have two and they are at home during the workday for about 9 hours, though I keep an eye on them with a motorized webcam.
